Still time to enter for tickets to Glorya Kaufman Presents Dance at the Music Center

There's still a week left to get your video entries submitted to us for our Zydeco dance video challenge (also mentioned on Culture Spot L.A. and About.com's L.A. Travel section). One winner will be randomly selected and announced at the upcoming Dance Downtown Zydeco night, Friday, July 30 at 6:30PM. (Photo courtesy of Music Center, taken by Alex Pitt)

The free event is part of the Music Center's Active Arts Dance Downtown series, happening every other Friday nights throughout the summer. The events are open to dancers of all skill levels, and novices are especially welcome.

Our contest is also in the same spirit. No experience necessary to enter! Submit your video entries by email to 'staff @ experiencela.com' by next Wednesday, July 28.

Winners will receive a pair of tickets to an upcoming dance performance of Glorya Kaufman Presents Dance at the Music Center 2010/2011 season. You can choose from:

• Nederlands Dans Theater - Wednesday, March 23, 2011, 7:30PM
• Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater - Wednesday, April 13, 2011, 7:30PM
• Mark Morris Dance Group - Friday, May 6, 2011, 7:30PM
