Dance Downtown: Cumbia and Merengue Night and More!

The arts don't have to be an observational experience, get out and enjoy the summer weather and free dance lessons with Active Arts at the Music Center.  Last Friday, I learned a few dance steps and danced the night away at the first of Dance Downtown's summer dance series featuring Cumbia and Merengue!

Photos, Video, and an Announcement after the jump.

Not sure dancing is your thing?  No worries!  Beginners and those with two left feet are especially welcomed.  Check out our video of the Dance Downtown Cumbia and Merengue Night and see that it's all about learning and the fun!

Need more convincing? We have photos from our Flickr Pool (Have photos to add?  Tag with "dancedowntowncumbia"):

Still feel you're gonna need a little bit more practice to get out there and dance?  Keep your eye out on ExperienceLA's blog, facebook, and twitter - we have a special video dance challenge that might get you out and about before you know it.

The next Dance Downtown event is Ballroom on June 4th.  Visit ExperienceLA.com for more information.

Go Metro:  The Music Center Plaza is convenient to the Metro Red Line - Civic Center Stop.  Check out our ExperienceLA Metro Trip Planner for the best way to get there without the parking hassles.
