Contest Details
Send us your “Addams Family” photo to enter. We’re offering different levels of prizes. Each level requires a little bit of extra work, but the prize gets a little bit more exciting. Take a look at the prizes we’re offering and decide how far you want to go. We’re considering creativity and effort in our judging, so think about your photo before you snap that picture. Get your friends and family to help you out!
Prize Level 1 – Win an "Addams Family" Gift Pack!
Three (3) winners will receive an "Addams Family" gift pack that includes a poster autographed by members of the cast, a CD sampler of songs from the show, along with other "Addams Family" prize items.
To qualify for this prize:
- Visit the Pantages Theatre and ExperienceLA.com booth at the Metro Expo Line grand opening celebration on Saturday, April 28 from 10AM-4PM located at 7th St. Metro Center Station, and take your photo with our Addams Family standee. Get creative with your pose!
- Visit the Pantages Theatre and ExperienceLA.com booth on National Train Day, Saturday, May 12 from 11AM-4PM at Union Station and take your photo with our Addams Family standee. Get creative with your pose!
Two (2) winners will receive one (1) ticket each to see "The Addams Family" on opening night, June 5 at 8PM.
To qualify for this prize:
- Submit a photo of yourself dressed as your favorite Addams Family character in full make-up (props are optional).
One (1) winner will receive a family 4-pack of tickets to see “The Addams Family,” on June 5, 2012 at 8PM at the Pantages Theatre (value: $320), and a $100 dinner voucher at Buca di Beppo located at Universal City Walk (value $100), for a total prize value of $420.
To qualify for this prize:
- Submit a photo of yourself fully dressed (including full make-up) as your favorite Addams Family character holding a sign that reads, “Must see Addams Family!” in front of the Pantages Theatre or any one of the Metro Rail stations.
- Email: Send your photo entry to ‘staff at experiencela dot com’. Include your full name, preferred phone number, and preferred email address. Use the subject line “Addams Family Photo Contest.”
- Twitter: You may also Tweet your photo entry to ‘@ExperienceLA’ and include the tag #AddamsLA and we will follow up with you to obtain additional entry information.
- Tumblr: You may also submit your photo entry via Tumblr at http://experienceLA.tumblr.com/submit. We will follow up with you to obtain additional entry information.
- Regular mail: You may also mail your photo to us the old-fashioned way. Send your submission along with your full name, preferred phone number and preferred email address to: ExperienceLA.com: Addams Family Photo Contest, 915 Wilshire Blvd., Suite #2175, Los Angeles, CA 90017. All mailed submissions must be received by the deadline to qualify.
- Only one (1) photo submission per level per person.
- Deadline: ExperienceLA must receive all submissions via email, Twitter, Tumblr or regular mail by May 21, 2012 at 12AM PST. All entries submitted after this deadline will not be considered. ExperienceLA will send you a confirmation email when your entry has been received, or notify you by phone if an email is not provided.
Prize Descriptions
- Three (3) winners will receive an "Addams Family" gift pack that includes a poster autographed by members of the cast, a CD sampler of songs from the show, along with other "Addams Family" prize items. Autographs may not include the full cast, and prize sponsors do not guarantee the entire cast’s signatures. Prize will not be available until after June 5.
- Two (2) winners will receive one (1) ticket each to see "The Addams Family" at the Pantages Theatre on opening night, June 5 at 8PM. Show tickets may not be exchanged or refunded for a later date. Other restrictions may apply. Parking is not included in the prize. Winner will be responsible for any parking fees required. (Why not go Metro?!)
- One (1) winner will receive a prize of a family 4-pack of tickets to see “The Addams Family” at the Pantages Theatre (value: $320) located at 6233 Hollywood Blvd., Hollywood, CA 90028, and a $100 dinner voucher (value: $100) to Buca di Beppo located at Universal City Walk. The entire prize package is valued at $420. Show tickets and dinner voucher are non-transferrable and cannot be resold. Show tickets are valid for the June 5, 2012 performance at 8pm and may not be exchanged or refunded for a later date. Other restrictions may apply. Parking is not included in the prize. Winner will be responsible for any parking fees required. (Why not go Metro?!)
- Entrants must be 16 years of age to qualify and must be able to show proof of age.
- Please observe all property rules and safety guidelines when taking photos in front of the Pantages Theatre and any Metro stations.
- Deadline: ExperienceLA must receive all submissions via email, Twitter, Tumblr or regular mail by May 21, 2012 at 12AM PST. All entries submitted after this deadline will not be considered. ExperienceLA will send you a confirmation email when your entry has been received, or notify you by phone if an email is not provided.
- By entering this contest, you give the contest sponsors (Broadway/LA-Pantages Theatre, Metro and ExperienceLA.com) permission to share, re-Tweet or re-publish your entry for promotional purposes.
- Winners (three (3) winners for prize level 1; two (2) winners for prize level 2; and one (1) winner for prize level 3) will be selected by ExperienceLA staff and notified via email by Friday, May 25 at 5PM. Winners will be chosen from among all entries received per each prize level and judged based on creativity and effort showcased in the photograph. Odds of winning are approximately 1 in 1,000.
- On behalf of Broadway/LA - Pantages Theatre and Metro (prize sponsors), ExperienceLA offers you the chance to enter to win one of three prizes in support of the upcoming "Addams Family" performance at the Pantages Theatre.
