Event Ideas: The Halloween Variety of Los Angeles

There's that first Fall chill in the air and before we know it one of my favorite holidays will be upon us - Halloween! But the season is more than just costumes and sweets, it's the perfect reason to head out on a new Los Angeles experience. Here's some suggestions from our calendar that cover a wide range of what LA has to offer!

Halloween Night Dive at the Aquarium of the Pacific

We welcome our newest staff blogger Melissa Doll!  Her first post reflects on her Halloween experience at Night Dive at the Aquarium of the Pacific!

Whoever first decided that sea creatures and music meld together naturally deserves an award. Seriously. Somehow, even in such a party-like atmosphere amongst silly costumes galore, the true peaceful nature of the ocean and animals inside it, shone through.

This is the second year for the Night Dive at The Aquarium of the Pacific. A variation of this event (Shark Lagoon Nights) is a monthly occurrence that has been present for years although (sadly) never quite making it to the top of my to-do list, until now. Add LA band favs, Restavrant and Free Moral Agents, 3 additional dj's, a local art show, and a free dress-up photo booth, and this was definitely worth the drive to the LBC to see what the hype was about.

Kids get in FREE at Madame Tussauds Hollywood Halloween Fang Trail

Explore Madame Tussauds Hollywood on a spooky scavenger hunt and learn some Hollywood Horror Facts at the same time! Follow the celebrity Fang Trail and find out about actors and actresses who have had starring roles in horror films, as well as the directors who have directed them. Clues will lead you to figures with vampire bites. Find all of the figures that have been bitten and win a prize at the retail store! Kids get in FREE at Madame Tussauds Hollywood from October 25-October 31!  Details after the jump!
