Special event: Love Never Dies (The Phantom of the Opera sequel)

Valentine's Day may be over, but we're still feeling warm and fuzzy inside. Thanks to the generosity of our friends at NCM Fathom and Omniverse Vision, ExperienceLA has received four passes to see Andrew Lloyd Webber's Love Never Dies in theatres on February 28th. To share this love, we're hosting a Twitter contest to send two of our lucky followers to see the first ever US showing of Love Never Dies, the highly anticipated sequel to the Broadway classic: The Phantom of the Opera.

First, the contest details. Two lucky entrants will have an opportunity to be among the first in the country to see Love Never Dies at the Regal Cinemas 14 at L.A. Live on Tuesday, February 28th at 7:30PM PST.

Here are the rules:
  1. Follow @experienceLA on Twitter.
  2. Tweet and complete this phrase: "@ExperienceLA, if I win I'd share the love by..."
  3. Only one (1) entry per person. Please DO NOT use multiple Twitter accounts to enter, as only one entry will be accepted.
  4. Please observe all Twitter etiquette and no spamming.
  5. Deadline to enter is February 23, 2012. Tweet us by February 23 for your entry to be valid. Entries received after February 23 will not be accepted.
The prize: The two (2) best entries as chosen by our staff will win two (2) tickets each to attend the special screening of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Love Never Dies at Regal Cinemas 14 at L.A. Live on Tuesday, February 28th at 7:30PM PST.

The fully staged pre-recorded performance of Love Never Dies captured from the Regent Theatre in Melbourne, Austrailia is a mesmerizing follow-up to the multi-award winning The Phantom of the Opera,  featuring a 21-piece orchestra and an impressive cast of 36 including actors Ben Lewis as Phantom and Anna O'Byrne as Christine Daaé. Based on a book by Ben Elton, the captivating love story of the Phantom and Christine Daaé continues in New York's playground, Coney Island. After his disappearance from the Paris Opera house, the Phantom begins a new life in New York amongst the freaks and side shows. The only thing missing from his new life is his musical protégée Christine. In an effort to win back his love, the Phantom lures Christine and her family to this new sparkling unknown world.

This event will also include an introduction from Andrew Lloyd Webber discussing the creative process and stumbling blocks of developing Love Never Dies and behind the scenes content that follows Lloyd Webber on set as he provides his creative insight and direction to the cast and crew.

For those who don't want to take chances, tickets are on-sale now to see Love Never Dies in theatres across the US on February 28th, or a second showing on March 7th also at 7:30PM local time.

Get creative with how you'd share the love, and good luck to all entrants!
