Foodies and wine enthusiasts will have an opportunity to meet Joel Gott of Joel Gott Wines when he debuts his latest collection at West Restaurant & Lounge.
West, located within Hotel Angeleno (the iconic circular hotel along the 405), will host a "Sip, Taste and Discover Joel Gott Wines at West" food and wine tasting event on Thursday, August 18 from 7PM-9PM. Attendees can look forward to being the first to experience six samples from this collection, which will be delightfully paired with dishes prepared by West's new Executive Chef Mathew Woolf. In addition to wining and dining, guests will have a chance to meet and greet with Mr. Gott and be entered for a chance to win a 3-liter bottle of Joel Gott 815 Cabernet Sauvignon.
My recommendation? Take in some art at the Getty, then head on over to West for dinner. Or, unwind from a day at the office with food, wine and a lovely view of the city from atop Hotel Angeleno. But take note, space is limited and a tasting ticket is required. Tickets can be purchased for $49 (does not include additional service fees or tax) online.
