In The Method Gun, the diaries and letters of acting guru Stella Burden’s followers are pieced together to recreate the company’s nine-year rehearsal process for A Streetcar Named Desire. The work explores the ecstasy and excesses of performance and the indelible impact of mentors.

The Method Gun premiered at the 2010 Humana Festival of New Plays to critical acclaim. The New York Times has heralded the ensemble as one of three companies in the country “making theatre that matters.”

These performances are also part of RADAR L.A., an international festival of contemporary theater.
