Last Chance! Cirque Berzerk at Club Nokia

Calling all Edward Gorey Fans, Oingo Boingo Fans, Horror Fans, Cirque du Soleil Fans, Burlesque Fans, Steampunk Fans, and anyone who likes to dabble in the dark side - Don't miss out on a wild time with Cirque Berzerk! This weekend ends their residency at Club Nokia, L.A. Live.
I've heard about Cirque Berzerk for a while and thought it was just a mere copy of Cirque du Soleil, but I was "dead" wrong.  It's a high-quality class act for those who enjoy being bad. The feats were amazing, the costumes exquisite and the music was sensual and sassy. The stage was intricate and even the rest of Club Nokia was decked out with a tattered Steampunk meets Dia de Los Muertos meets Memoirs of a Geisha paraphernalia.
During intermission, audience members could peruse a mini-bazaar of unique jewelry, clothing and accessories from several different vendors as well as a photo booth where they can dress in "Berzerk-esque" fashion. After the show, the cast would come out to mingle and take pictures. It was eye-candy on and off the stage!
Want more? Take a peak at some photos in the ExperienceLA Flickr Pool, but note - they do not do the show justice! There is so much going around that you can can't everything, and sometimes what I saw was so jaw-droppingly cool that I forgot to take a photo! You can also check out more photos on Cirque Berzerk's Facebook page.
