Reading Is Fundamental Boggle Tournament

Reading Is Fundamental SoCal has invited us to participate in their first ever Boggle for Books Boggle Tournament. Now, we’re looking for our top 2 Boggle players to represent ExperienceLA and have a chance to compete for a grand prize.

The competition will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at the Autry National Center of the American West.

In addition to the boggle tournament and an
exciting grand prize for the winner, there will be drinks, hors d’oeuvre, a silent auction and raffle. If you love testing your brain for a fun weekend and want to support Reading Is Fundamental, please submit your video application to our staff email at: staff@experiencela.com

Each video should be less than 1 minute. You need to convince us and the rest of XLA why you are worthy of competing for the grand prize, and the chance at being the very first Boggle for Books champion. The XLA crowd will vote and the top 2 winners will go to Reading Is Fundamental’s Boggle Tournament to represent XLA.

If you believe that you are the chosen one, or know someone who is the ultimate Boggle player, please submit a video testimonial to staff@experiencela.com with your name and phone number. The deadline for video submission will be 4/28 and the last day for voting is 5/5.

After we receive your video submission, we'll notify you and let you know if it was approved. Then, we'll post it to our YouTube page, so you can invite your friends and family to vote for you and increase your chances of representing XLA.

For those of you who wish to compete on your own, click here for more event details, or visit Reading Is Fundamental's website.

The tournament will help support Reading Is Fundamental, an organization promoting literacy and motivating underserved children to read. All the proceeds will build the home libraries of 75,000+ children and provide more than 225,000 new books for them.
